Post-RN BScN is a 2 year bridging degree program which offered to registered nurses (RN) who have a 3 years diploma in general nursing on the basis of matric or intermediate, and one year specialty. The degree of this program is equal to 16 years of education according to Higher Education Commission (HEC) and its holder can apply for the post of 17th grade. The first Post-RN program was initiated in 1988 at Aga khan University. The Post-RN B.Sc.N graduates are capable of working in the first line management and teaching position as they have the needed experience. Now there are more than 5000 nurses who have completed the Post-RN B.Sc.N Program in Pakistan.
Programme Objectives
Upon completion of the programme, the graduates will
